This Business Analytics program focuses on business analysis techniques and frameworks and how to apply them in decision making. It can be broken down into three main categories:

- Mathematics or Statistics as a subject with at least 50% marks.

Admission Process
Candidates need to apply online along with the application money. Xavier School conducts an online Xavier Aptitude Test in January every year. Those who apply for several programs may be called for multiple interviews. The selection criteria depend on the nature of the program selected, the academic background, relevant work experience XAT, and interviews performance.
Duration of the Course
Postgraduate Certificate in Business Analytics (PGCBA) is a 1-year program that provides the perfect master of business analytics, although, the duration of the program varies from student to student.

XRLI is a campus located in C. H. Area (East), Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, India.
This program is a long-term virtual interactive program in XRLI and therefore it does not require one to exist physically in class. However, there will be 11 days of intensive learning whereby the students will be expected to stay on the campus.
These 11 days are divided into two which are 5 days at the beginning of the program and 6 days towards the end of the program. The dates or the schedule of the program are always communicated in advance so that the executives can prepare for their stay on the campus by taking leaves from their organizations.

1. Is this course STEM-certified?
Yes, this is a STEM program, but you should know that Post Graduate Certificate programs do not qualify for extended OPT. STEM refers to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
2. Do I need to start with this certificate program and later transfer to MBA?
Admission to this Post Graduate Certificate program will not change or affect your chances of getting into the MBA program.
3. I already have a master’s degree. Do I have to do the XAT test?
Having a master’s degree does not exempt you from doing the required test scores. Sometimes, applicants choose to submit an application without the test, since they think they are qualified. Failing to do the test could easily jeopardize an individual’s application.
4. Is it possible to get a scholarship for this certificate program?
This Post Graduate Certificate program is not a scholarship program. It is eligible for federal financial aid. Although, other scholarship programs might be available at Xavier School of Management.
5. I’m a student at XRLI. Do I need to apply again?
Yes, you will need to submit a new application for admission to this post graduate certificate program in business analytics.
Accreditation
The assessment of the student required for certification is carried out by XLRI. The teaching staff chooses the most appropriate method of assessment for the course. The student will be given a certificate directly by the Xavier School of Management after completion of this course.
The students also get an opportunity to earn an extra specialization certificate in the elective provided. Once one has successfully completed the program, you will be awarded the XLRI alumni status.
